Rob has been involved in healthcare through various clinical, research, and IT roles. He is passionate about educating patients and empowering them to become actively involved in their care. Through personal and professional experience with chronic disease management, Rob seeks to share his knowledge to help foster a vibrant spondylitis community and help others explore the daily impact of exercise, relationships, work, and partnering with physicians on obtaining a high quality of life.
It is his hope that through partnering with SAA, we can bolster the spondylitis community within the Boston-area by connecting with others, improving community awareness, and sharing evidence-based practices and current research.
When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son; cooking and staying active through hiking, biking, swimming and yoga, as well as tackling a growing list of DIY projects.
Starting a spondylitis support group can be a fulfilling and rewarding challenge. The knowledgeable volunteers who lead SAA-Sponsored Spondylitis Educational Support Groups play a vital role by providing a forum for those with spondylitis to connect and offer support.
