Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Crohn's Disease
www.ccfa.org -- The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America's (CCFA) mission is to cure and prevent Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.

www.gastro.org -- The American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) was founded in 1897 and is the oldest non-profit specialty medical society in the country. The Public Section provides information on digestive disorders, like inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, lactose intolerance, etc.

General Arthritis
www.spondyville.com -- A cyber-town for people with ankylosing spondylitis and their families and friends. Fellow SAA member Michael Smith runs an online support group to help people cope through humor, friendship, support, and information.

www.risg.org -- Reiter's Information & Support Group Inc. is a nonprofit organization set up by fellow SAA member Rick Hahn to provide information and support to people with spondyloarthropathies and their families and friends. Upon joining the list serve and/or message board community, people can access over 30,000 searchable messages.

www.rheumatology.org -- The American College of Rheumatology is the professional organization of rheumatologists and associated health professionals who share a dedication to healing, preventing disability, and curing the more than 100 types of arthritis and related disabling and sometimes fatal disorders of the joints, muscles, and bones.

www.arthritis.org -- The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions with advocacy, programs, services and research.

www.arthritisinsight.com -- A comprehensive arthritis site, run by a three-person board of directors, medical contributors, and volunteers. Their goal is to provide timely, accurate information and emotional support to the hundreds of millions of people with arthritis and their families around the world.

www.hopkins-arthritis.som.jhmi.edu -- The mission of the Johns Hopkins Arthritis web site is to provide a high quality, interactive, educational program for health care professionals about diseases that cause arthritis and their treatments.

Worldwide Organizations for Spondylitis
www.asif.rheumanet.org -- The Ankylosing Spondylitis International Federation is a worldwide organization of national self-help societies for people with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). This site also lists spondylitis organizations' contact information (address, phone number, email) for those without a web site presence.
