http://www.arthritis.org/resources/nutrition/diet.asp -- The Arthritis Foundation produced a brochure on diet and nutrition as relating to the more than 100 different types of arthritis.

http://navigator.tufts.edu -- The Tufts University Nutrition Navigator is the first online rating and review guide that solves the two major problems Web users have when seeking nutrition information: how to quickly find information best suited to their needs and whether to trust the information they find there.

http://www.eatright.org -- The American Dietetic Association (ADA) web site contains a wealth of nutrition information for consumers and the media, featuring approximately 3,000 pages of content from news releases and consumer tips to Nutrition Fact Sheets, consumer FAQs and the Good Nutrition Reading List. Consumers seeking the services of a registered dietitian can use the "Find a Nutrition Professional" feature on ADA's Web site.

http://www.consumerlab.com -- ConsumerLab.com provides independent test results and information to help consumers and healthcare professionals evaluate health, wellness, and nutrition products. CL addresses a growing need of consumers and healthcare professionals for better information to guide the selection of health, wellness, and nutrition products. Types of products tested include vitamins, minerals, sports & energy products, foods & beverages, personal care products, etc.

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic - Food and Nutrition Informational Center is located at the National Agricultural Library (NAL), part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). Since 1971, its mission has been to collect and disseminate information about food and human nutrition.

http://www.foodsafety.gov/~fsg/network.html -- The National Food Safety Information Network, one of the initiatives in the May 1997 National Food Safety Initiative Report to the President, brings together the Federal Government's primary mechanisms for providing food safety information to the public. The "Network's" goal is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the government's food safety information dissemination activities.

It works in partnership with academic and research institutes, the food industry, educators and government.
