Esther Hickman has resided in the NYC Metro area since 1998. She currently works as a real estate agent with Brown Harris Stevens specializing in residential rentals and sales.
She hails from Southern California where she completed her B.A. in vocal performance at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in November 2009.
About Andrea Shapiro, New York's Support Group Co-Leader
Andrea Shapiro is a life long New Yorker. She currently works as a development researcher at the Metropolitan Opera. She is a candidate for a Master in Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
In addition to supporting SAA, Andrea is also a member of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. She was diagnosed with Spondylitis in 2010.
