About Roger Stead, Washington, DC's Support Group Leader

Roger Stead is an environmental engineer working for the Department of the Navy. He lives with his wife Carole in Springfield, VA and they have three grown children, each with their own families. For years his favorite past time was soccer. He coached his son's team for years until his son started traveling soccer and from there Roger refereed soccer and coached other soccer teams (22 in all). Roger and his wife like to be outdoors and go for long walks together.

Roger was one of the charter members of the Boston support group (recently dissolved after seven years) and from there went on to form my own support group in New York, which later moved to Connecticut after he moved to DC. He started the Washington area support group in 2002.
