For those currently on the waiting list for ENBREL® (etanercept), Immunex will notify you as soon as they can offer you access to the medication.

Immunex apologizes for being unable to activate any new patients in the ENBREL® Enrollment Program this year, and regret that no activations will occur this summer. The timing for such activations is dependent on reaching "key milestones for approval" for their new manufacturing facility in Rhode Island. They encourage patients who have questions regarding their current treatment to discuss them with their doctor.

The new facility is expected to approximately double production capacity for ENBREL®, and Immunex is currently working to gain FDA approval of the facility in the most timely manner possible.
