Golimumab Submitted to FDA For Approval In Treating Ankylosing Spondylitis / Psoriatic Arthritis

Golimumab, a new TNF-a inhibitor manufactured by Centocor, has been submitted to the FDA for approval in treating rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
This new biologic medication is being studied as an every four week injection and is also being studied as an intravenous (IV) infusion therapy.
