Review: Treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and other spondyloarthritides

A review of spondylitis treatment was recently published in the journal, "Current Opinion In Rheumatology."
Highlights of the review include the fact that there is far more safety data on the TNF-a inhibitor class of medications and that research has uncovered that cardiovascular complications should be looked at and are of concern.
The review also points out that treatment is becoming more "complicated" overall.
