The following is an announcement from SAA about a survey validation regarding ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis. SAA is not affiliated with the survey / validation. Are you a Spanish-speaker with Ankylosing Spondylitis or Psoriatic Arthritis? If so Corporate Translations Inc., (http://www.corptransinc.com) is asking for your help in validating the language in their translated questionnaire. Spanish fluency is required, as the questionnaire is in Spanish. They are offering $75 for your time in reviewing the questions and providing your opinions regarding the questionnaire.

CORPORATE TRANSLATIONS, INC. is looking for FIVE patients with ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS and FIVE patients with PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS to participate in the linguistic validation interviews for the Spanish translation of questionnaires related to these conditions. These patients will only be used for cognitive debriefing of questionnaires that have been translated from English into Spanish. In order to test these translations it is necessary for Corporate Translations to speak with ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS and PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS patients and gather their opinions of the text.
The interviews take approximately thirty minutes to one hour to complete. They can be conducted privately over the phone, or in a location chosen by the patient. A doctor or other medical representative may be present to observe the interview if desired. Patient opinions will be collected and recorded during the interview. These opinions remain anonymous and are used only to help analyze and improve the translation.
We guarantee patients' confidentiality with regard to information we collect. Personal information is used solely to determine eligibility to participate in the interview and will never be released to outside parties.
