In honor of Pain Awareness Month this September, the Spondylitis Association of America invites you to join us for our webinar, "Mind Body Approaches to Pain," featuring a bonus guided meditation.
Tune in on Saturday, September 7th, from 10:00am-11:00am PST as certified yoga therapist, Nancy O'Brien C-IAYT, guides us through relaxing and compassionate mind-body practices.
During this free, hour-long webinar hosted by the SAA, you’ll learn:
-Powerful, de-stressing breathing practices
-Support for easing pain in the body
-Relaxing guided meditations
All of these practices, which you will be able to use right away, can be done in your most comfortable position, whether that is seated, reclining, or standing, or any combination thereof.
About Nancy O'Brien
Nancy O'Brien, C-IAYT is a yoga therapist, specializing in pain and chronic health conditions. She is certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and associated with New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery, Yoga for Arthritis, and Integral Yoga Institute. She's worked to bring mind-body practices to people living with pain and chronic health challenges through classes, workshops, presentations, webinars, and social networking.
